Holy Cow

Okay wow. It has been forever since I blogged and I even said I would blog in a few days in my last one. My laziness has gotten out of control, but I'm working on it. So I'm gonna tell you guys about my vacation that happened awhile ago like I promised. I have pictures so hopefully I won't bore you guys to tears.

I went to Lake George, New York. The scenery there is sooooo amazing. We rented a house right on the lake with a boat dock since we have our own boat. This is the view from our dock.

Unfortunately it rained most of the days we were there, but the few days we did get to go out on the boat we did things such as water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding, and tubing. Here is me in the water getting ready to ski and me in the tube getting ready to be thrown all about (since getting flipped out is always more fun).

And here's some more scenery out on the boat. In the last one, if you look close you can see rock climbers.

I don't know about you guys, but fishing is the most boring thing in the world to me. I'm not patient at all. So instead of going on a fishing trip with all the other guys, I went to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain ski mountain with my mom, cousin, and her mom. The Winter Olympics where held at Lake Placid in the 80's so they have an Olympic museum that we went into. Here's a picture of me acting like a tough hockey goalie.

After the museum we took a gondola, the kind used for skiing not the boat (one of my friends thought I was talking about the boat which made me laugh), to the top of Whiteface Mountain. Here's pictures of the mountain and Lake Placid.

One last thing and probably my favorite thing we did. We went to this obstacle course that is up in the trees. You wear a harness and go through obstacles like going from one swinging log to the next swinging log and my favorite, the ziplines. The only bad thing was that it poured rain practically the entire time. Here's a few pictures so you can get a better idea then my lame explanations.

And that's the condensed version of my vacation. If you live on the east coast and need somewhere for vacation, I'd definitely recommend you go there.
